The Master of Arts in Slavic and East European Studies is a cross-disciplinary program provided by the Graduate School and overseen by the Center for Slavic and East European Studies. Working closely with both the program advisor and their individual faculty advisor, students enjoy the distinctive chance to customize their degree path using available courses while meeting program requirements. This MA degree opens doors to diverse professional and academic paths. Alumni have successfully entered fields including national security, nonprofit work, diplomatic service, corporate sectors, military service, media, and secondary/higher education.
A baccalaureate or professional degree (or equivalent foreign credential) from an accredited college or university, earned by the expected date of entry into your graduate program. A minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in all prior undergraduate and graduate work.
