The Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures (DEALL) provides Master's and Doctoral programs in Chinese and Japanese, covering literature, linguistics, and language teaching methodologies. Each year, numerous graduate students showcase their research or lead workshops at prominent academic conferences. The department actively supports student publications, with several receiving university-wide recognition for exceptional research papers. Master's candidates typically fulfill all degree requirements within a two-year timeframe.
