The Health and Rehabilitation Sciences PhD Program at the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (HRS) cultivates emerging leaders in specialized fields who drive healthcare progress through research, education, and community engagement. Participants are prepared to serve as guardians of scientific inquiry by employing meticulous research methodologies and innovative analytical techniques within their chosen specialization. Maintaining scientific leadership fosters an environment of continuous learning and breakthrough thinking, essential for professional stewardship. Our faculty and alumni will pioneer their fields through sustained research endeavors, impactful knowledge sharing, and dedicated professional service.
A completed master’s degree or professional degree in a health related field; or be an applicant to a dual degree program, such as DPT/PhD, OTD/PhD, MS/PhD. Applicants with a non-health background may be considered if clear academic and professional goals have been established prior to applying to the program. ​Graduate GPA of a 3.3 or higher
