The Doctor of Philosophy program in Anatomy enables students to attain advanced scholarly expertise while cultivating the ability to advance research and understanding in anatomical sciences. Throughout their studies, candidates may choose to focus on specific anatomy subfields. With approval from the Graduate Studies Committee, students can also pursue interdisciplinary specialties beyond the department. This PhD program equips graduates for professional paths including: Academic positions, Research roles in government or industry, Science instruction, and Advisory positions in planning and regulatory organizations.
A baccalaureate or professional degree (or equivalent foreign credential) from an accredited college or university, earned by the expected date of entry into your graduate program. A minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in all prior undergraduate and graduate work.
