The AEDE PhD program stands as an internationally acclaimed pioneer in agricultural, environmental, and development economics. Recognized by the National Research Council in 2011 as the premier Agricultural and Resource Economics program in the U.S., it equips students with robust economic theory and quantitative method training to tackle diverse economic challenges. Graduates pursue academic, research, and leadership roles across universities, research centers, government bodies, global organizations, NGOs, and private sector enterprises.
A baccalaureate or professional degree (or equivalent foreign credential) from an accredited college or university, earned by the expected date of entry into your graduate program. A minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) in all prior undergraduate and graduate work.
