The Master of Science program at the College of Dental Medicine aims to equip students, particularly those in postdoctoral dental programs, with advanced research skills and methodological training. Candidates must complete a core curriculum, specialized track courses, and a research thesis, covering topics in biological sciences, material sciences, and oral health-related studies.
This program prepares graduates for analytical thinking, enhancing their ability to engage in research and academic pursuits. Postdoctoral students can simultaneously meet the requirements for both their specialty certification and the Master of Science (MSCDM) degree.
The MSCDM is mandatory for Orthodontics and Operative Dentistry postgraduate students, while other CDM departments may also participate. Accepted students are expected to fulfill all program requirements within two to three years.
