This graduate certificate aims to deepen students' knowledge of modern topics in language and literacy studies. The Interdisciplinary Study of Language and Literacy Graduate Certificate welcomes all NIU-enrolled students. Participants must sustain satisfactory academic progress, earn at least a B in all certificate courses, and finish requirements within six years. All coursework must be completed at NIU, with potential prerequisite courses outside the certificate curriculum. Early completion of core courses is strongly recommended.
