This certification program aims to deepen understanding of art and design's historical context and importance. It's ideal for artists, educators, and museum/gallery professionals in arts-related fields who seek specialized knowledge without pursuing a full M.A. in Art History. The curriculum allows for both specialized and broad exploration, with completion noted on academic transcripts. Open to all university graduate students in good standing, though earning an M.A. in Art History specialization would replace this credential. The certificate is also available to qualified non-degree seeking students.
