Admission to the program requires passing an audition and interview, with annual evaluations to maintain enrollment status. The curriculum provides rigorous, individualized training to equip graduates for both the creative and practical aspects of an acting profession. In the initial two years, students explore various theatrical disciplines such as performance techniques, dramatic literature, dance, physical theater, and stagecraft, while also fulfilling core academic requirements. Starting their second semester, freshmen embark on specialized training in physicality, vocal work, and performance methods. The acting program follows the Meisner technique throughout all four years, supplemented with courses in screen acting, voice-over work, audition strategies, and script interpretation. Additional offerings include classical theater styles, accent training, fight choreography, modern and historical plays, musical performance, and camera techniques. Seniors culminate their studies by creating professional demo materials and participating in a Chicago showcase attended by leading industry professionals, including agents, casting directors, and producers.
