Grounded in foundational studies of ethics, leadership, criminology, legal systems, and professional writing, the intelligence specialization cultivates an analytical mindset. The Justice Studies curriculum equips students with robust theoretical knowledge to tackle pressing concerns in criminal justice. Each concentration (Criminal Justice Administration or Intelligence Studies) focuses on targeted skills to help graduates excel as professionals, advance their careers, and for Intelligence Studies students, enter the intelligence sector.

Individual program admission requirements over and above admission to NAU are required.
To be admitted into the Bachelor of Applied Science in Justice Studies you must have:
completed or be in the process of completing JUS 110 and JUS 120 or their equivalent.
an associate's degree, either completed or in progress, at a regionally accredited institution and the associate's degree must be completed prior to the awarding of the BAS degree.
All transcripts and mark sheets must be submitted in English.
We require a minimum 2.5 grade-point average (GPA) for first year and transfer students.
Transfer students who have earned 24 or more credits at an American post-secondary institution only need to submit that transcript as part of their application. A high school transcript is not required.
NAU accepts transcript evaluations from members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) as part of the evaluation process. However, the result of a transcript evaluation does not guarantee that transfer credits will be awarded. All transcripts from post-secondary institutions in Nigeria must be evaluated from members of the NACES services. IELTS 6, TOEFL - 70 iBT and iBT Home Edition.
