This program at Northeastern University enables students holding bachelor's degrees in fields other than accounting to pursue a Juris Doctor from the School of Law while simultaneously earning a combined Master of Science in Accounting and Master of Business Administration (MSA/MBA) through the D'Amore-McKim School of Business. Designed as a four-year curriculum, it serves as excellent training for individuals pursuing careers in taxation, corporate finance, or mergers and acquisitions. Leveraging Northeastern's distinctive co-op model, participants gain hands-on professional experience through multiple placements—including one with an accounting firm and additional opportunities with legal departments, law firms, government agencies, or judicial offices. Certain CPA apprenticeship requirements can be fulfilled through co-op participation, and Massachusetts bar members receive automatic exemption from the business law portion of the CPA exam.
