The JD/MS dual degree program enhances students' expertise and professional prospects. Criminal justice and legal studies intersect in their pursuit of justice, equity, and community welfare. This combined program offers an interdisciplinary approach to examining the root causes of criminal justice issues within their broader societal frameworks. Addressing these complex challenges demands cross-disciplinary expertise along with analytical and practical abilities for collaborative solutions. Students may apply up to 16 shared credits between both degrees, with a maximum of 12 non-law credits eligible for the JD program.

Qualification Requirements

To be eligible for admission, a candidate must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university by the time of law school matriculation in August.
International applicants who have earned undergraduate degrees from institutions outside the United States or Canada should submit official copies of their transcripts to the LSAC JD Credential Assembly Service for translation.
Applicants whose undergraduate degree program was not taught in English are encouraged take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), but it is not required.
