The Criminology and Justice Policy doctoral program focuses on students, aiming to equip them for academic roles as well as research and policy careers. This full-time, fully-funded Ph.D. typically takes five years to complete. Our curriculum guides students through every step of the research process, teaching them to develop research questions using both qualitative and quantitative methods, produce academic publications, and craft policy-oriented technical reports.
Graduates often land prestigious roles such as tenure-track faculty positions at top research institutions, post-doctoral research opportunities, and policy-focused government positions.
Notable recent placements: Florida State University (Assistant Professor), Massachusetts Appeals Court (Staff Attorney)
