The biomedical physics program explores how physical processes at molecular, cellular, and macroscopic levels influence biological functions. This includes studying chemical-DNA interactions, oxygen transfer in red blood cells, neural electrical signaling, and the physics behind medical devices. The program features a specialized premed (prehealth) track. Physics investigates core principles governing phenomena across all scales - from subatomic particle collisions to biomolecular behavior and cosmic events like stellar explosions. Students gain intellectual engagement through physics study and cutting-edge research, learn essential techniques for physics-related professions, and prepare for advanced studies in physics or allied disciplines.

Qualification Requirements
All first-year applicants are required to submit the Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR). Once your application is submitted and processed, you will be able to access your SRAR through the Application Status Check portal.
All high school transcripts must be sent directly to Northeastern by your high school by the application deadline. Any transcripts sent by you, your family or an independent educational consultant will not be accepted.
First-year applicants must provide a transcript which includes final grades from grades 9, 10, and 11 (or the international equivalents).
