Students can specialize in diverse fields including: Curriculum and Instruction, Agricultural Education, English Education, Family and Consumer Sciences Education, History Education, Mathematics Education, Music Education, Science Education, Social Science Education, Whole Child Approaches, and Teacher Licensure.
Our Teacher Education graduate program fosters the growth of educational leaders committed to promoting equal opportunities in learning. The curriculum aligns with the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) and Interstate Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (InTASC), emphasizing practical research and educator development. Designed for working professionals, the M.Ed. program incorporates action research projects. We strongly recommend students collaborate with academic advisors to define and reach their educational objectives.
For those interested in Family and Consumer Sciences Education, we offer both M.Ed. and M.S. degree paths. Advanced coursework is available in FCSE, Career and Technical Education, Extension services, and curriculum design and implementation.
