Launched in 1945, the Graduate Tax Program remains the premier initiative in its field. The program's faculty features some of the nation's top tax scholars alongside seasoned practitioners who bring both exceptional teaching dedication and real-world expertise gained from high-level tax practice. Graduates hold influential roles across tax firms, government agencies, judicial systems, and academic institutions. Available for both full-time and part-time students, the curriculum delivers comprehensive training in key federal taxation areas through more than 50 yearly graduate courses. While not mandatory for admission, completing a foundational income tax course is strongly recommended, as all advanced classes employ rigorous methodologies to tackle intricate tax law matters. Rather than focusing solely on technical aspects, instructors highlight theoretical frameworks and policy considerations to develop thoughtful solutions for tax challenges.
