This program prepares students for careers in general and public accounting while fully meeting New York State's educational criteria for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure. Most states, including New York, mandate 150 semester hours of study for CPA certification. Those seeking licensure outside New York should verify their state's specific requirements. Develop specialized knowledge through Hofstra University's Frank G. Zarb School of Business Master of Science (MS) Programs, offering seven concentration areas ranging from accounting to cybersecurity. Flexible enrollment options include full-time or part-time evening and online classes. Qualified applicants with a 3.2+ undergraduate GPA and relevant professional experience may receive GMAT waivers, with additional waivers possible after application evaluation. Scholarship opportunities exist for eligible candidates.
