This four-year JD-LLM program offers a distinctive dual degree opportunity tailored for NYU JD students pursuing advanced knowledge in international law. The initiative focuses on delivering personalized guidance and specialized education to select high-achieving students destined to influence legal scholarship, education, and progressive practice in international law. Participants gain recognition as Institute for International Law and Justice Scholars, receiving financial support throughout their four years of study. NYU JD candidates can apply to the IILJ in their second year and submit applications for the full-time International Studies LLM through the Office of Graduate Admissions during their third year.
