The LL.M. program serves multiple objectives: it enables practicing U.S. attorneys to refine their expertise and expand their understanding of specialized legal topics, assists internationally licensed lawyers in familiarizing themselves with U.S. legal systems to qualify for the Bar exam, and offers concentrated study for scholars pursuing advanced legal research in preparation for an S.J.D./Ph.D. and academic profession. The curriculum is tailored to provide specialized knowledge in chosen fields. Qualification Requirements

To gain admission to the LL.M. program at the law school, you must demonstrate a combination of academic achievement, professional accomplishment, and English language competency (although work experience is not required). In addition, you must satisfy one of the following education requirements:
Hold a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school in the U.S.
Hold a first degree in law or comparable from a university outside of the U.S.
Prove that you are licensed to practice outside the U.S. (foreign applicants only)
TOEFL iBT of 79-99 or IELTS of 6.5-7.0 will take the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) placement test. Admitted students with Duolingo scores (min. accepted score - 110) will also be required to take the EAP placement test.
