Qualification Requirements

To apply, you must have at least a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a college or university of recognized standing, with a strong background in biological, chemical, physical, or mathematical sciences. We have no minimum GPA requirement and welcome all academic majors.
The following components make up the application for the PhD program:

three recommendation letters
a resume or CV
The personal statement should address the following: significant research experience(s) that led you to apply to graduate school and major area(s) of interest, life experiences that have contributed to your potential, as well as any immediate and long-term goals (1,000 words).
For the TOEFL, the Graduate School recommends that the applicant achieve a minimum TOEFL score of 100 on the internet-based test. For the IELTS, a minimum overall band score of at least 7 is recommended.
