Across the globe and throughout the ages, civil projects have been essential — from the Roman aqueducts and London Bridge to the Hoover Dam and JFK Airport. Civil engineers contributed to each of these, and as rapidly expanding populations put pressure on modern infrastructures, they will undoubtedly continue to enhance and expand our built environment today and in the years ahead.
Become part of their ranks by enrolling in Tandon's BS program in Civil Engineering. You will prepare for a diverse and dynamic field that significantly influences society and its infrastructure. Our program is intensely practical, with a strong focus on design, equipping you for entry-level roles in any civil engineering subfield or for advanced academic pursuits.
The BS in Civil Engineering program holds accreditation from the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET. The Department of Civil and Urban Engineering educates engineering graduates to contribute to and advance the practice of civil engineering and its specialties. Through its research initiatives, the department aims to lead in specific areas by generating new knowledge and applications in civil engineering.
