Become a certified trainer or coach, or acquire the essential coursework required for graduate studies in exercise physiology, kinesiology, physical therapy, or occupational therapy. Starting with New York Tech's core curriculum, the Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science program systematically incorporates coursework and practical experiences covering exercise, fitness, wellness, nutrition, and physical activity.
The program features classes in kinesiology, cardiovascular training, biomechanics, and an overview of sports injuries. You'll utilize the clinics, labs, and resources of our College of Osteopathic Medicine and other health profession departments. During your senior year, you'll complete a capstone project combining hands-on training at exercise science facilities with a research component to enhance your analytical, investigative, and presentation abilities.

Qualification Requirements
To be considered for admission to New York Institute of Technology, you must have satisfactorily completed high school (secondary school) with at least a B average or a 3.00 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale.
Copies of transcripts of all high school work, including college-level courses.
Mid-year and final grades will be required.
Proof of high school graduation.
Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, Duolingo English Test, or IB English scores).
Two letters of recommendation.
A 300 to 350 word essay describing your career goals in the major you applied for and how attending New York Tech would further those goals.
