The Associate of Fine Arts (AFA) Degree in Acting for Film, available in Los Angeles, equips students with core acting techniques through scene work, vocal training, physical movement, audition strategies, and improvisation. Through practical assignments, students develop both independent and collaborative skills in fast-paced creative settings while quickly gaining acting knowledge and experience. Under the instruction of our faculty—working professional actors—students undertake numerous hands-on projects to create their professional demo reel.
The program also explores contemporary and traditional performance methods via coursework and demanding projects, helping students grow more confident and skilled in their artistic strengths. The AFA aims to deliver hands-on screen acting training, ideal for those dedicated to pursuing their artistic calling.
