The Master of Arts in Anthropology caters to students passionate about both core anthropological disciplines and specialized areas like cultural resource management, food studies, medical anthropology, and museum studies. This program serves those aiming for a terminal master's degree as well as those preparing for doctoral studies. Beyond the Anthropology M.A., we provide graduate minors in anthropology, archaeology, food studies, and Native American Studies, plus Graduate Certificates in cultural resource management and museum studies. Our faculty actively support graduate students in pursuing these minors and certificates to broaden their anthropological expertise.

To apply to the Anthropology Masters Degree program the following materials are required-

Graduate School application form and fees
Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from all colleges and universities attended, with a 3.0 GPA minimum.
A letter from the candidate addressing his or her interests and graduate school objectives.
Letters of recommendation from three persons familiar with the candidate's academic record.
