The Master of Arts in Sport and Performance Psychology program offers comprehensive education to help students develop into skilled mental performance practitioners. Hands-on training is grounded in theory, evidence-based methods, and professional ethics.
Graduates of this distinctive program gain expertise in assessment, counseling techniques, research methodologies, performance improvement, and cultural awareness while shaping their professional approach across diverse fields including sports psychology, business, coaching, counseling, performing arts, military psychology, and sport sciences.
After finishing the initial nine courses, students must pass the Comprehensive Written Exam (CWE) before advancing to specialization requirements.
To earn the Master of Arts degree, students must complete a minimum of 67.5 quarter units.
