If you're someone with a strong desire to help others and feel drawn to positively impact people's lives, pursuing a career as a marriage and family therapist can be deeply rewarding.
National University's Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology program equips you to support couples, children, and families through emotional challenges and psychological concerns. Our curriculum encourages students to examine therapy from both client and practitioner viewpoints, fostering comprehensive understanding of the therapeutic process and developing skilled counselors.
Earning the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology requires completion of 90 quarter units of graduate coursework. Students may transfer up to 13.5 quarter units from previous graduate studies at other institutions, provided these credits are relevant to the degree and weren't applied toward another advanced degree.
