The Electrical and Computer Engineering curriculum encompasses hardware, software, communications, and their interrelationships. National University's program emphasizes electrical engineering principles, mathematical foundations, and their application to computer and computer-based device design. Coursework develops analytical reasoning and design capabilities across multiple domains including computer architecture, digital logic design, circuit analysis, computer networks, digital control systems, integrated circuit engineering, project management, VLSI design, digital signal processing, and embedded systems.
To earn a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, students must fulfill 180 quarter units, including 70.5 units of General Education requirements. Among these, 76.5 units must be upper-division coursework, with 45 units (including the senior project sequence CEE 498, CEE 499A, and CEE 499B) completed through National University.
Successful completion of year 12 or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 2.0. ACT/ SAT recommended.
