The Associate in Science in Nutrition and Dietetics for Transfer program provides students with an introduction to the core concepts and techniques in nutrition and dietetics studies. This program equips learners with essential knowledge to continue their education in nutrition and dietetics at four-year institutions.
To obtain an Associate of Science in Nutrition for Transfer degree, students must finish 60 transferable semester units that meet CSU requirements, including either the IGETC or CSU GE breadth curriculum plus an 18-unit major. A minimum 2.0 GPA in all transferable CSU courses is required for the degree, with all major courses completed at a C grade or higher. Those earning this transfer degree won't need to fulfill additional local graduation requirements.
