Montclair State University's Sustainability initiatives set the standard in New Jersey by combining natural sciences, physical sciences, social sciences, economics, policy studies, and project management. These programs equip future sustainability leaders with the skills to address our world's most challenging environmental issues. The Sustainability Science curriculum is based in the Department of Earth and Environmental Studies, leveraging interdisciplinary knowledge from the College of Science and Mathematics, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Business, and the PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies.
