Disability is an inherent and important aspect of human diversity, with students identified as having disabilities playing a growing role in enhancing classroom diversity. The demand for skilled inclusive educators has never been greater, as they work to reshape New Jersey's educational landscape and guarantee every student's meaningful participation in our diverse, democratic, and inclusive society. This 36-credit MEd in Inclusive Education program caters to educators already holding Early Childhood (P-3) or Elementary Education (K-6) certification, enabling them to earn both Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TSD) certification and a master's degree in Inclusive Education.

Qualification Requirements

Transcripts: The Graduate School does not evaluate international transcripts. In lieu of a transcript, applicants with a non-U.S. degree need to submit a course-by-course evaluation that includes U.S. bachelor's degree equivalency information for their coursework.

A minimum TOEFL score of at least 83 on the internet-based test (iBT) or 62 on the paper-based test (pBT).
For IELTS test takers, the minimum required score is 6.5.
