This Master of Arts program provides students with a practical curriculum focused on child advocacy. As a developing discipline, child advocacy integrates knowledge from multiple fields including psychology, sociology, and law. Yet it represents a unique area where the combined expertise exceeds its individual components. In addition to the Child Advocacy, Public Child Welfare Concentration (MA) degree, graduate students can pursue these alternatives: Child Advocacy and Policy (MA), Child Advocacy and Policy (MA) ONLINE, and a Child Advocacy and Policy Certificate.
