The Bachelor of Arts in Jurisprudence, Law and Society offers students a strong academic base for pursuing law school or other advanced degrees, while also preparing them for diverse careers demanding analytical thinking and strong communication abilities. This program enables interdisciplinary exploration of legal studies within a liberal arts context. The Jurisprudence major integrates legal principles, justice theories, humanities, and social concerns, presenting an intellectually rigorous path for those aiming for legal professions. As an interdisciplinary program, it examines legal systems through multiple academic lenses, helping students understand how societal influences shape laws and regulations. Students will refine critical thinking, analytical reasoning, persuasive argumentation, research skills, and clear writing. This major serves as an excellent substitute for the Pre-Law Minor.
