The Educational Foundations for Elementary Teachers bachelor's degree equips students for teaching careers, offering pathways to K-6 certification. This program covers learning theory, evaluation methods, child development, and examines the social, historical, and philosophical influences on U.S. education. It strengthens fundamental knowledge in crucial disciplines like Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies, ensuring graduates possess the academic foundation required for elementary teaching.
Unlike conventional degree programs, ours offers an integrated, interdisciplinary approach condensed into just 120 credit hours. Teacher Education program admission requires a separate application. Aspiring K-6 certified teachers will benefit from our carefully aligned coursework that meets certification requirements. For non-certification seekers, the program incorporates 27 elective credits, allowing students to pursue additional majors or minors according to their interests.
