Rooted in both engineering and social sciences, our Industrial and Management Systems Engineering (IMSE) graduate program prepares students with both classic and modern competencies for designing, overseeing, and evaluating intricate human-focused systems. Students explore cutting-edge technical subjects to create, assess, and optimize systems that enhance organizational performance across businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies. Recognizing that these systems interact with people and influence societal and ecological contexts, optimal success comes from merging technical approaches with ethical considerations—demonstrating accountability through sustainable practices, safeguarding community well-being, addressing stakeholder needs, adhering to global standards, and holistically integrating societal and environmental impacts across all system operations.
