This specialized program equips future counselors to handle diverse mental health and relationship challenges using a family systems approach. Participants learn to assist individuals, couples, and families through a systemic lens, while also gaining expertise in child and adolescent therapy. The Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling curriculum fulfills Montana's educational requirements for Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor certification. Students may count up to 1500 hours of their supervised clinical work toward Montana's 3000-hour licensure prerequisite. Program alumni typically pursue careers across various counseling settings, serving clients of all ages and relationship configurations.
