The physics program offers adaptable coursework to suit diverse student interests, career goals, and individual requirements. It simultaneously delivers comprehensive coverage of core principles and theories about our physical universe. Built upon this strong foundational knowledge, graduates can pursue advanced studies in scientific disciplines or transition into fields like education, business, law, media, or philosophy. Alternatively, they may embark on professional careers in teaching, corporate sectors, public service, or commerce.
The Physics Department provides multiple bachelor's degree tracks, along with graduate programs culminating in MS and PhD degrees. All research teams actively involve undergraduate students in pioneering investigations, fostering collaborative opportunities with professors and graduate researchers to enhance the academic journey.
Freshmen will be considered for admission on the basis of their secondary school record and their English proficiency. Applicants who can prove their English language proficiency and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5/4.0 on a U.S. scale will qualify for admission.
