Montana State's Special Education program begins with a comprehensive curriculum that explores the connections between STEM subjects and language arts, social studies, arts, and health education. Students then progress to specialized courses in educational assessment and instruction for learners with special needs, available at both MSU Bozeman and MSU Billings. The program also includes significant hands-on training through service-learning opportunities, two practicum teaching terms, and a culminating student teaching experience during their final year.
