Montana State's Political Science program equips students with expertise in American government structures, international relations, political philosophy, and public policy from a scholarly perspective. Beyond classroom learning, the department offers practical experiences including internship placements and global study programs. Students may pursue Political Science as either a primary major or supplementary minor.
Freshmen will be considered for admission on the basis of their secondary school record and their English proficiency. Applicants who can prove their English language proficiency and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5/4.0 on a U.S. scale will qualify for admission.
