Gallatin College provides a 62-credit Culinary Arts Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree program. The curriculum combines classic culinary training with specialized courses tailored to Montana's distinctive food traditions and thriving tourism sector. Graduates can pursue diverse culinary and food service careers within the local industry. This program shares foundational courses with MSU's Hospitality Management bachelor's degree from the College of Education, Health, and Human Development. Those earning their Culinary Arts Associate's Degree may opt to further their studies by pursuing the Hospitality Management Bachelor's program.
Freshmen will be considered for admission on the basis of their secondary school record and their English proficiency. Applicants who can prove their English language proficiency and have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 2.5/4.0 on a U.S. scale will qualify for admission.
