Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a multidisciplinary field combining Entomology, Plant Pathology, and Weed Science. Addressing pest issues effectively demands comprehensive knowledge across these disciplines along with hands-on field experience. The IPM program offers core coursework in all three pest-related fields, a solid foundation in biological and physical sciences, and real-world training via internships. This curriculum caters to students aiming for immediate career entry or further academic pursuits. Flexible elective options enable customization for careers in agriculture, business, environmental conservation, or graduate school preparation. Graduates gain qualifications for roles with corporations, government research and regulatory bodies, agricultural consulting firms, grower cooperatives, horticultural businesses, greenhouse operations, and large-scale farming enterprises. The IPM program falls under the Agronomy degree track.
