The Bachelor of Arts in Communication program is available. Students can select from five specialized tracks: Broadcast and Digital Journalism, Communication and Media Studies, Print and Digital Journalism, Public Relations, and Theatre.
Communication majors select one of these focus areas, all structured to equip them for professional careers in the field. Numerous students choose to undertake dual concentrations or combine their communication studies with another major or minor in disciplines like African American Studies, English, film studies, gender studies, marketing, political science, pre-law, or psychology.

Qualification Requirements
Certified, translated copies of all transcripts, mark sheets, and diplomas from your school. Mississippi State recommends all school credentials from non-U.S. institutions be submitted through a National Association of Credential Evaluation Services member (NACES member agency, https://www.naces.org/members) for a course-by-course evaluation with grade point average calculation. MSU's preferred transcript evaluation service is TEC or MyIEE.
An official ACT score of 20 or higher, or SAT score of 1030 (only if your GPA is below 3.0 based on our evaluation of your transcripts OR if you are applying for scholarships).
International undergraduate students applying to Mississippi State University must demonstrate English language proficiency in order to register for academic courses. The following methods of a demonstration are approved:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): minimum band score of 6.0.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): minimum 525 for paper-based test, 197 for computer-based test, and 71 for Internet-based test
English portion of the ACT: minimum 19.
Duolingo English Test score of 120
