Collaborate with local communities to analyze, record, educate residents, and address important historical inquiries related to industrialization and its impacts. Industrial archaeologists examine tangible evidence from industrial eras—including objects, infrastructures, locations, records, customs, and environments—while considering their cultural, ecological, and historical backgrounds. Master's candidates qualify for tuition waivers lasting up to two years. The majority of our master's students finance their studies through multiple avenues such as work-study programs, research assistantships, educational loans, scholarships, and grants. MS candidates may also participate in faculty-led research initiatives with funding. Doctoral students are eligible for three years of financial support through assistantships that include tuition coverage and living stipends.
