Virtual Heritage explores how digital technologies can support the core objectives of cultural heritage preservation: uncovering, documenting, reconstructing, examining, understanding, and sharing three-dimensional human artifacts. These range from small items like seals, pottery, and sculptures to large-scale structures, communities, and cultural environments. Our program provides hands-on experience with 3D software (including PhotoScan, AutoCad, 3D Studio Max, Unity, and Zbrush) while fostering creative thinking about applying these tools to address challenges in disciplines such as Anthropology, Archaeology, Conservation, Museum Design, Egyptology, and Art and Architectural History.
