The Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics is a hands-on graduate program tailored for students simultaneously enrolled in Michigan State University's Dietetic Internship. This curriculum combines supervised clinical rotations at Michigan-based facilities with online coursework covering research methodologies, advanced clinical nutrition, statistical analysis, and professional seminars. ACEND (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) fully accredits the program. Beyond meeting the competency requirements set by the accrediting body through supervised practice, the program fosters evidence-based learning and professional skill development. Graduates who earn their master's degree become eligible to take the Registration Examination for Dietitian Nutritionists.
