The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program prepares students with essential knowledge and competencies to thrive in today's dynamic business environment. The curriculum emphasizes practical application of business concepts through real-world scenarios, equipping future leaders to tackle professional challenges effectively.

Beyond foundational courses, students can focus their studies in specialized areas including Accounting, Emerging and Digital Media, Finance, Health Administration, Human Resources Management, Management, Marketing, or Software Development.

Additional credentialing opportunities include graduate certificates in Cybersecurity Incident Response, Cybersecurity Penetration Testing, Data Analytics, or Project Management. Electives should be selected based on individual career aspirations and professional interests.

The MBA program offers flexible scheduling options with evening in-person classes or online delivery, available in both part-time and accelerated full-time formats. The program holds ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs) accreditation.

Program Outcomes
Graduates of Maryville University's MBA program will demonstrate the ability to:

Apply analytical techniques and data visualization methods essential for contemporary business practice.
Formulate data-informed solutions to complex business challenges across various industries.
Evaluate legal and ethical considerations in business decision-making.
Communicate effectively how different business functions contribute to strategic organizational success.
The program requires completion of 36 credit hours, comprising 27 core MBA credits and 9 elective credits. Students may opt for a concentration or certificate program (12 credits).

Prerequisite courses may be necessary depending on academic background. Non-business undergraduates must complete BUS-501 (Survey of Business), while those without accounting coursework must take ACCT 509 (Financial Accounting). These prerequisite credits don't count toward degree requirements.

For students pursuing multiple credentials: Only 6 credits from completed Accounting, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Finance, Health Administration, or Software Development concentrations can apply toward a second master's degree.
