The MSHSA program equips graduates to thrive in modern healthcare's intricate business landscape. Participants develop skills to address healthcare challenges by utilizing up-to-date expertise in business strategies, healthcare technologies, legal aspects, financial management, leadership principles, and marketing approaches.
Through faculty collaboration, students examine pressing and emerging concerns affecting healthcare service providers, while enhancing their ethical judgment and management decision-making abilities. Learners will refine superior communication skills and interdisciplinary competencies for operating in culturally and intellectually varied settings.
This HSA program trains healthcare administrators in both theoretical knowledge and practical application of healthcare business administration. The curriculum delivers business-focused coursework with healthcare-specific applications, designed for professionals already in the field who seek advancement to leadership roles.
Program participants will gain the ability to:
implement business theories in healthcare contexts
analyze healthcare data systems to optimize resource distribution
investigate legal considerations in patient care delivery
reconcile patient care requirements with organizational financial limitations
assess how quality measurement methods impact patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes
Admission to the MS program in health services administration is determined on the basis of the following:
Possession of a bachelor degree from a regionally accredited institution, with an overall under­graduate grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. (An average of less than a 3.0 will be reviewed for conditional admission.)
Internet based TOEFL (iBT, Test of English as a Foreign Language) with a minimum score of 80; or
TOEFL paper-and-pencil test with a minimum score of 550, accompanied by the Test of Written English (TWE) with a minimum score of 5; or
IELTS score of 6.5+; or
PTE Academic score of 53
