Consider all the objects we interact with daily—our phones, eyewear, coffee machines—alongside items from our past (childhood toys), future needs (elderly care aids), tools used on us (medical equipment, law enforcement cameras), potential purchases (advertised goods we don't acquire), and thought-provoking concepts (museum exhibit prototypes). Each originated from a Product Designer's vision.
Through MICA's Product Design curriculum, you'll master essential techniques like sketching and prototyping, develop 3D digital models and lifelike visualizations, explore material properties for both aesthetics and function, learn to address user requirements and aspirations, and gain skills to effectively present ideas to clients and team members.
This field calls to those passionate about transforming the visual and tactile experience of daily existence.
