The speech-language pathology graduate program provides specialized coursework covering the prevention, diagnosis, assessment, and management of communication disorders across all age groups, fulfilling both ASHA's educational standards and Wisconsin's licensing criteria. The master's program includes an English-Spanish bilingual track (BIES), designed to train clinicians capable of serving Spanish-speaking and bilingual populations. Applicants must first gain admission to the speech-language pathology MS program before applying separately for the BIES concentration, which requires demonstrated Spanish proficiency as measured by ACTFL standards.
