As the sole dental school in Wisconsin, we provide access to cutting-edge clinical facilities and educational technology. Throughout your studies, our faculty and experienced practitioners will mentor you, staying true to Marquette's mission: to educate exceptional oral health professionals capable of delivering superior dental services to both urban and rural populations nationwide and globally. We'll equip you to begin practicing right after graduation. Marquette University's endodontics master's program spans 24 months with a strong focus on clinical excellence. From their first year, residents treat patients in our graduate clinic and maintain this hands-on experience throughout both years. To earn the Master of Science in Endodontics, students must complete at least 30 credit hours, including four clinical practice credits annually (totaling eight credits for the program) and six thesis credits. Remaining credits can be allocated between specialty courses and electives.
The Master of Science program exclusively admits students under Plan A, offering two pathways: the conventional thesis route or the publication alternative. To fulfill degree requirements, all candidates must pass the graduate core curriculum with a B- or better, execute a research project in clinical or basic science, and publicly defend their findings. The advisory committee oversees the defense format and content.
