The Master of Arts in Bioethics program offers comprehensive, graduate-level interdisciplinary education in bioethics, designed for professionals and scholars examining ethical dilemmas in healthcare and biological sciences.
Breakthroughs in scientific research, advances in medical technology, and worldwide interconnectedness have introduced complex issues regarding biomedical innovation and equitable healthcare access. Key concerns include stem cell applications, assisted reproduction methods, safeguarding research participants, corporate influence on studies, global health disparities, and inefficient healthcare financing systems - representing just some of the pressing issues we confront today. As we progress through this century, both our society and our students must develop the tools to address these evolving bioethical questions.
All successful applicants must have a degree from an accredited four year college or university before beginning the program.
If you are an international applicant, you may need to submit TOEFL scores.
Applications submitted after January 1 will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the application period is closed May 1.
